2008 willnot bring me a higher speed 2 GB Ram larger screen laptop on which to waste my time, but rather a new dishwasher as the old one went kerplowie today. well it didn't actually stop working, rather when i pulled out the top rack to unload the dinner party dishes the entire rack came free from the machine flying into the kitchen throwing glasses and bowls and my husband's new little red  tea mug with the little pocket for the teabag onto the tile floors of the kitchen.  i love those grey tiles but they are merciless when you drop something.  

 

 

 

So after I sequestered the cat and cleaned everything  up I saw what pieces of cheap plastic had just broke in half. It's a top of the line fridgedaire ( came with the house) but never cleaned well  ( and a regular load took 95 nminutes andwas noisy too) and was hard to load as it's tines arrangement was weird.  we had already replaced the top rack brackets once because this has happened several times but never with a load of dishes on it.

 

So wednesday a new stainsteel Kitchenaid arrives with power scrubber and a built in garbage disposal and stem ware racks and super super quiet ( it's the DW I had installed in montgomery)

 

And now we are off to see a play and I am wearing black and brown- a great combo especially with a little glitzy gold and citrine jewelry. and I will "talk" to y'all tomorrow. Happy Happy. Merry Merry
